Sebastian Thrun dons Google headset during Charlie Rose interview

by Amber Case on May 1, 2012

If there is any question whether Google’s Glass project is actually functional or not, the world got a small taste of it last week. In his April 25 interview with Charlie Rose, Sebastian Thrun not only donned a pair of the rarely seen Google goggles, but also used them to take a picture of Charlie Rose and then posted the image to his Google+ account.

Thrun argued that “current augmented reality has failed because it hasn’t focused enough on facilitating interaction between people”.

Sebastian Thrun is the founder and head of Google X. He’s also working on an online University project called Udacity.
